| Artist's Statement |
| I work mainly in glass, using abstract pieces to depict a landscape or natural form. Living by the sea has inspired me to use coloured glass to reflect the many changing moods and light that can be seen in the sweeping Suffolk skies. The coloured glass is used as an accent, catching a moment in time. I also like using copper wire as you would use a pencil in drawing; the wire helps me to keep the detail simple. I try very hard to not complicate my pieces, simplicity is the key.
My work has been exhibited locally, nationally and internationally and can always be viewed at Reunion Gallery, Felixstowe.

| Biography |
On completion of an Art & Design degree
at Colchester Institute in July 2001, I set up a workshop with
a fellow artist in Felixstowe where I was able to develop the
work produced on the degree programme. I now exhibit my work
in local galleries. I have also had commissions from Essex County
Council and Chelmsford Borough Council to provide glass artwork
for presentation as an award. In 2002, together with a colleague,
I took over premises adjacent to our studio and opened a gallery
called the Reunion Gallery, where we display and sell our work
alongside selected artists.
