New to Artworks in 2007, the Artists Making an Exhibition of Themselves (AMET) evening was a resounding success. Now in its FOURTH year, it is a fully-fledged event in its own right!
AMET is an evening when artworks’ artists set-up their own studios in front of their work and are happy to answer all those burning questions visitors might have about their art. It is a wonderful opportunity to embark on a voyage of artistic discovery.
Some of the themes covered by the artists will include
Doing What I Like Doing Best
How to Stretch a Canvas
Pastel Painting NOT Drawing
Taking a (wax) line for a walk with brilliant dye colours
Watercolour Landscapes
Lost Wax
My Personal Approach
Transferring textures and images onto surfaces
Linoprinting
Acrylics in Action
Flowers in Watercolour
Loving the Image
Constructing a Collagraph Plate
Fashion Accessories
Printing on Slate

ALSO another opportunity to view the artworks’ exhibition.
Evening sponsored by THE CURWEN STUDIO
