"My work is diverse in its application and use of materials. It has evolved around the concepts of identity and memory, as a result of a familial experience of Alzheimer's disease.“

More recently I have explored themes of history, memory and place in works that reference the traces left by human activity from the ancient to the post-industrial. The detritus left by industry incorporated into the structures as texture. Printing and text are an important part of individual pieces which start as an idea and develop spontaneously. The materials used in sculptures are varied and include slate, ceramics, aluminium and wood.
