The nature of time and the perception of temporality are the central concepts in my studio practice. Through the process of printmaking, using repetition, space, line and series, I seek to materialise our experience and perception of time.

My current work is focussed on the idea of the breath being at the essence of our human experience of time.

Formerly a teacher and a recent graduate from the Colchester School of Art. Eileen is currently studying for an MA in Printmaking at Cambridge School of Art. Her research into how we perceive time has led to a passion for the printmaking process, particularly etching, blind embossment and woodblock printing.

She is a founder member of the ‘Quartz’ group who work together to exhibit their art and to encourage their individual professional development. Eileen is also a member of Gainsborough's house print Workshop.
