Artist's Statement
I like to work expressively responding to the landscapes and seascapes of East Anglia using mixed media. I enjoy doing free line drawing where I endeavour to convey the essence of a scene with an economy of line. I also work from the life model in various media.

Biography
After a career in publishing, working as production editor and designer Anne now works full-time as a painter in Walberswick. She received her training at the Chelsea School of Art where she specialised in printmaking under the tutorship of Peter Baer. She has had her work shown in the The Royal Academy Summer Exhibitions, the New English Art Club, The Chappel Galleries, The Bircham Gallery, The Southwold Gallery and Snape Maltings Gallery. Her work is included in many private and public collections here and abroad.

Anne featured as Artist of the Month at the Snape Maltings Gallery in May 2006. In January 2007 she had her first solo exhibition of at the Chappel Galleries in Essex. She likes to work expressively responding to the landscapes and seascapes of East Anglia using mixed media.
