A TASTE OF ARTWORKS AT WINGFIELD

In addition to the annual exhibition at Blackthorpe Barn, to celebrate its 10th anniversary Artworks’ is also mounting a TASTER EXHIBITION at Wingfield Barns, Wingfield, near Eye, Suffolk IP21 5RA. The exhibition will run from Saturday 4 to Sunday 19 April. Demonstrations by artworks’ artists will provide added insights. All the work in the exhibition will be for sale. There will also be a good range of original loose work and cards for sale in the Wingfield Barns shop.

ARTWORKS CELEBRATES ITS
10TH ANNIVERSARY

ARTWORKS 10th ANNIVERSARY EXHIBITION
5 September - 27 September 2009, Blackthorpe Barn, Rougham, Bury St Edmunds

Filling the Barn with paintings, prints, sculpture and installation art, this is a great opportunity to indulge in excellent original art by 30 of East Anglia’s leading artists. Admission FREE; ample parking, light refreshments available, shop selling original work/cards. Open 10-5 daily.

ARTWORKS Daily Demonstrations throughout the exhibition
Once again, on each day of the exhibition a different artworks’ artist will be demonstrating the medium they work with – always popular with visitors.

ARTWORKS CONCERT Saturday 19 September at 7 pm (doors/bar open 6 pm).
To help us celebrate our 10th anniversary, we welcome, once again The Delightful Companions (Elizabeth Page recorder; Pam Munks violin; Jeremy Hughes cello; Philip Simms harpsichord), who last year gave us a highly spirited and engaging Baroque concert. This year, they will present a programme featuring Purcell and Handel.

ARTWORKS ‘Artists Making an Exhibition of Themselves’ Saturday 26 September 6-9 pm (doors/bar open 6 pm)
An event when Artworks’ artists will set up temporary ‘studios’ in front of their work at the Artworks exhibition. A great hit with our visitors last year, the artists will once again be there to answer your questions, share their art and show how they do it.
Tickets £3
